What Does a Pediatric Optometrist Do?
A pediatric optometrist focuses on infants, children and teens: first eye exams, amblyopia and strabismus, binocular vision and focusing problems, myopia control and glasses for kids, often alongside vision therapy.
Many trained in a pediatrics and binocular vision residency; they work in family practices, children's hospitals and school-based vision programs.
