What Does an Associate Optometrist Do?
An associate optometrist is an employed OD in a private, group or private-equity-owned practice, paid salary or a base plus production bonus, often with a path to partnership.
It is the usual first job after graduation: the practice supplies the patients, staff and equipment while the associate builds speed, medical-eye-care skills and a patient base.
